Uses of Audience Pleasures in Peter Kay's Carshare For the exam you need to be able to explain at least two different types of audience pleasures in detail. These examples of each from different episodes will help you. The panel show, shows Keith Lemmon going through celebrity homes and involves the guest panel having to guess who the house belongs to. Most media theorists agree it is because they need to fulfil certain needs. Katz' uses and gratification theory explains these needs by splitting them into four different categories.
